CHOCOLATE FONDUE WITH PENJA PEPPER

A simple yet surprising dessert. The sweetness of chocolate, the crunch of fruit, and the spice of pepper will create sparks!

Preparation: 20 minutes
Difficulty: Easy
Budget: Moderate

Ingredients:

  • 500g organic dark chocolate

  • 50cl coconut milk or your usual liquid cream

  • White Penja Pepper

  • Seasonal fresh fruits such as: apples, pears, strawberries, raspberries, grapes, kiwis, pineapple, mangoes, bananas, mandarins, etc.

  • Fondue picks

Preparation:

  1. First, wash the fruits in lightly vinegared water (if not organic) and set them aside in bowls.

  2. Coarsely chop your fruits, except strawberries, raspberries, and small fruits.

  3. Gently heat the coconut milk or cream and quickly add the chocolate pieces.

  4. Stir slowly until a smooth liquid is obtained. If too thick, add a little warm water.

  5. Add the Penja Pepper directly into the fondue pot (5-6 grinds) or one grind over the chocolate-coated fruit at the moment of tasting.
