A healthy, easy-to-make appetizer that pairs perfectly with plantain chips or fresh vegetables.

Ingredients:
1 ripe organic avocado
1 can chickpeas (approx. 400g), rinsed and drained
1 garlic clove
0.75 cl olive oil
2 tbsp lime juice
1 tsp salt
Black Penja Pepper
Basil or parsley leaf (for garnish)
Serve with:
Ripe plantain chips
Vegetable “dips” like zucchini, cucumbers, celery, or carrots
Toasted whole-grain bread slices
Preparation:
Dice the ripe avocado and chop the garlic into small pieces.
Place them in a bowl with the rinsed and drained chickpeas. Add olive oil, lime juice, salt, and the star ingredient: 3-4 grinds of Black Penja Pepper!
Blend until smooth and creamy.
Plate in a small bowl. Drizzle with a bit of oil and garnish with a basil leaf.
This creation offers a refreshing sensation in the mouth that is most pleasant!
